I cut pieces of green cardstock in half for my students to start with.
I went ahead and cut out all the pieces because my students are younger, but if you have some kids who are great with scissors, they could probably cut out their own.
I created a model for them and showed them where to fold and glue so they could run with the creative possibilities as they build their own little neighborhood.
